Sharpener Pro 3 and Dfine 2 are perhaps less useful these days.

Until the arrival of Aurora HDR, this was arguably the most comprehensible and effective HDR software on the market, and it’s still pretty good even now.

Message was edited by: Kirby Krieger - clarifications. The Nik Collection 4.2 update has made the Nik plug-ins work with Photoshop running in native M1 mode on M1 Macs, fixed a compatibility issue with Capture One and the new versions of Silver Efex Pro and Viveza, and has made Silver Efex Pro’s U-point adjustments more responsive. I suggest re-installing the Google Nik Collection and moving to the Trash every Image you have so far creating using any of the Google Nik Collection tools (search using the Rule "File Type" with the arguments "is" and "externally edited"), empty the Aperture Trash, reboot, and try anew. I can't tell where the process is failing for you. When you save the file from your plug-in, changes to it are written back to it, and show in the Image based on it. This "quasi-Original" is then sent to the plug-in you selected. This file is then, in effect, imported: an Image is created with this new file now as its Original. The file format used is specified at " Aperture ▹ Preferences ▹ Export ▹ External Editor File Format". When you evoke a plug-in from Aperture using an Image that has not been previously edited with a plug-in, a new image-format file is created from the current Image. No plug-ins (afaik) work with the RAW file. This is why updates to Aperture's RAW compatibility are listed by camera, and not by file type. Every camera has its own RAW format (and manufacturers change the RAW format with some firmware upgrades). "RAW" describes a family of proprietary sensor data file formats. Have you tried updating the Google Nik Collection on your machine? (Use the link that was emailed to you by Google.)
How are evoking the Google Nik Collection tool?ĭoes it happen for all Google Nik Collection tools?
